Overview
PAS is a production, approval system that manages the process of assigning job tasks, tracking schedules, sending items for approval, tracking, organizing and sharing approved assets. Conveniently accessed with a web browser and an Internet connection, Productions can be managed from pre-production through delivery. In PAS, you can setup and assign workflow based upon departments. Only members of specified departments are available for specific task assignment. Convenient upload of assets makes for a centralized repository for production assets. All tasks are stored in one place and they are easily moved through various states before being sent to a client for final approval.
Menu
PAS has a dynamic menu system that allows the application to be customized for each production. Different levels within the menu system can be modified to provide the most efficient workflow possible. Access to different modules within PAS are limited to access rights granted at the user level. Restricting view of unwanted navigation for users with limited access provides a more streamlined experience within the system and shortens the amount of time needed to become familiar with the applications.
Elements
The production process is divided up in PAS as elements. Different pieces along the life of the production need different types of assets. Elements tie directly to a production cycle. File types and staff departments can be assigned to each element. Elements may be tied to a production schedule. Â Required days for task completion and approval may also be assigned at the element level. PAS allows you to also setup days between episodes when your production involves multiple episodes.
Schedule Automation and Report Generation
PAS has a built in wizard to quickly generate production schedules. PAS can create a master schedule across the entire duration of the production including multiple episodes. It can also create micro schedules for use when dealing with certain departments or pieces of the production. Reports that are routinely generated can be customized and saved for use again later. The extensive automation of the schedule saves time and valuable money. Timelines along the schedule can also be easily pushed or pulled for that item or the entire schedule easily. Ease and flexibility make the schedule process easy to generate and manipulate. Schedules can also be exported into Excel for additional flexibility.
